Janet Ann (Gentes) Chase, 59 of Goffstown, passed away peacefully February 8, 2018 at Community Hospice House with her family by her side.
She was born on February 10, 1958 to Roger and Simonne (Tremblay) Gentes, and was a liflong resident of the Manchester area.
Janet attended Manchester Central High School. She was a member of the band, playing the saxophone. Janet worked as a CNA at the VA for many years and also worked for Merritt and Hess. She loved to knit, crochet, and make jewelry. She enjoyed reading and watching murder mysteries, when her beloved dog Tucker would let her. She also loved listening to Beatles music, watching the Bruins, drinking coffee and enjoying life, with a combination of joy and sarcasm. Janet was married to the late Kenneth Chase who passed away in 2011. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her son, Richard Anderson and son–in-law, Tavric Chance of Goffstown; her sister, Susan Ramos and husband Donald; and her nephew, Len Faucher and wife, Margaret and their children Charlotte and Elizabeth of Olympia, WA; and many family and friends.
There are no visiting hours. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
