Janet Vergas Belcher

She was born in Manchester on March 6, 1954, the daughter of James and Jeannette (Jutras) Vergas. She was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Manchester West High School, class of 1972.

She had been employed as the property manager for the Villages at Beech Hill in Manchester.

Janet loved animals, sports, and was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan.

Members of her family include her parents, James and Jeannette Vergas of Manchester; one daughter, Jessica Belcher of Colorado; one sister, Gail Traverse of Manchester; nephews, nieces, and cousins.

In her life: She was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Pittman in 1999.

The funeral service was held Monday March 19, 2007in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
