Janet Lydon, 86, of Manchester, died December 5, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on January 9, 1931, she was the daughter of Leon and Louise (Auger) Goulet. She was educated in Manchester and attended Rivier College. Janet was a lifelong resident of the Queen City. Prior to retirement, she worked in the office for her family business, Goulet Supply, Plumbing & Heating.
Janet enjoyed knitting and watching her favorite New England Sports Teams. She devoted many years being involved with her children, and their activities. She loved spending time with her family and at the beach, and at their home in Hampton. Above all she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was predeceased by her first, husband Aristocles "Jocko" Thomas in 1979, and her second husband, John R. Lydon, in 2014. She was also predeceased by her five siblings, of which she was the youngest, Lucille, Marcella, Anita, Simonne, and Leon.
Family members include her daughter, Jody Thomas of Manchester; two sons, Kevin Thomas of Manchester, and John Thomas of CA; one grandson, Jonathan Vallee of Manchester; and one great grandson, Lydon Thomas Vallee of Raymond.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
