Janice C. (Egan) Spaulding, 52, of Manchester, died June 29, 2004 at Kindred Hospital in Peabody, MA.
She was born in Manchester, NH on October 26, 1951, the daughter of Justin P. and Dorothy (Eddinger) Egan. She lived all of her life in Manchester and attended Immaculata High School Class of '70. She married Russell E. Spaulding on May 11, 1974.
Jan lived an active and productive life despite having Cystic Fibrosis. She worked as an executive secretary at Freudenberg-NOK for 16 plus years until her health declined in 1998.
She was listed for a double lung transplant and received her precious gift of life (a lung transplant) on May 7, 1999. She wishes to thank her donor family for this gift of life. Her hobbies were sewing, crafting, rubber stamping, exercising and just enjoying life and making people laugh. She loved to travel and her favorite places were Aruba, Arizona, and Florida. She was an avid dog lover also.
In addition to her husband, family members include her mother Dorothy Egan of Oldsmar, FL; Two brothers, Michael and Richard Egan; Mother-in-law Charlotte Spaulding; Five nephews, Justin, Leo, and Jon Egan, Scott Bailey and Kris Doeringer; Two nieces, Kelly Bailey and Kenna Sappington, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Litchfield on Saturday July 3, 2004.
