Janith Lorraine Barrows

Goffstown, NH: Janith “Jan” L. Barrows 86, former longtime resident of Manchester, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Catholic Medical Center, from a sudden illness.

Born on September 4, 1936 in Sunapee, New Hampshire, she was the daughter to the late Earl and Margaret (Hamel) Ford.  She worked for AT & T for over 44 years, in management until her retirement.

Jan loved arts and crafts, her dog Bella and spending time with those she loved.

She was the mother of three, Donna Chaput and her husband, Gerard of Bedford, Margaret “Peggy” Wescott of Eaton and Richard Wescott of Concord; three grandchildren, Brian, Amy and Ryan; and six great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by husband, Richard Barrows and her sister, Judy Hardy.
