Jarrod C. Wallace

August 23, 1968 — November 17, 2020

Jarrod Chapman Wallace, 52, of Bedford, New Hampshire died suddenly on November 17, 2020 from a tragic accident. Family members include his wife of 20 wonderful years, Lisa (Henry) Wallace, his amazing daughters, Madison and Kaitlyn, and his loving parents Brenda and Kyran Wallace of Mont Vernon, NH.

Born in Topeka, Kansas on August 23, 1968 while his father was serving in the US Air Force, Jarrod's family then moved to Nashua, NH where he enjoyed a childhood of skiing and playing youth baseball. He graduated from Bishop Guertin High School, class of 1986 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University, class of 1991.

After graduation, Jarrod lived in the Boston area where he enjoyed time in the city, proximity to the mountains and ocean, and the Boston sports scene. He met his wife Lisa in 1994, was married on Cape Cod in 2000 and lived in Newton, MA before moving to Bedford, NH in 2003.

Jarrod started his career in banking and treasury operations, working for financial institutions such as Bank of Boston, Fleet and Bank of America. After his second daughter was born, he was able to spend 2 years as a stay-at-home Dad, with his newborn Kaitlyn and 2-year old daughter Madison. Jarrod then went to work as an Account Manager for SunGard Financial Systems, now FIS Global Systems, where he enjoyed traveling to see various clients, and working with team members in both the US and UK.

Always preferring to spend his time outdoors in the company of family and friends, Jarrod enjoyed skiing, golfing, the beach, listening to music and sharing a good laugh. He loved planning family road trips, and whether traveling cross-country to Chicago or Orlando, or taking shorter drives to Bar Harbor or Cape Cod, he ensured that happy memories and funny stories were part of every journey. Known to all for his quick wit and incredible sense of humor, Jarrod was able to find the comedy in any situation, leaving you with a smile and story to share later on.

Jarrod was interested in charitable giving and enjoyed learning about the various ways in which his family and friends were helping others. If you support an organization and wish to make a donation in Jarrod's name, please send us a note, as we would love to learn more about your involvement. The organizations his family is currently involved with include the Friends of Aine Center for Grieving Children and Families in Manchester, NH and the Cape Cod Family Table Collaborative sponsored by the Cape Cod Culinary Incubator in Barnstable, MA.

Due to the pandemic, Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester, NH arranged private family services. A Celebration of Life will be planned once it is safe to gather, hug, and remember Jarrod by sharing stories filled with the inevitable laughter that he will always be remembered for.
