Jayne H. (Hatheway) Perron, 82, of Hooksett, NH passed away on December 2nd, 2025 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
Jayne was born on October 13th, 1943 in Newburyport, MA to parents Nicholas and Florence (Heard) Hatheway.
Jayne proudly earned her Master’s Degree in Reading from Notre Dame College in Manchester. She worked as a Reading Specialist for many schools, starting her career in Salisbury, MA then moving to NH where she worked at Millville, Broken Ground, Eastman, and Rundlett Schools. She was deeply dedicated to her work as a teacher and to each student she helped.
She enjoyed playing the piano, helping students, and taking day trips with her loving husband Leo Perron. Jayne enjoyed her life and the friends and family in it.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Leo E. Perron; Brother Nicholas Hatheway II and wife Ann; Nephews Nicholas Hatheway III and wife Jenny, and Curtis Walton; Niece Mary Ann Montague and husband Bill; her Nephew and Niece’s children Jack Hatheway, Leah Hatheway, Michael Hatheway and girlfriend Andrea Smith.
She is predeceased by her parents and Sister Andrea Hatheway.
SERVICES: Calling Hours will be held on Thursday December 11th, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St. Manchester, NH 03104. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December, 12th at 10:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 207 Hemlock St. Manchester, NH 03104. A Committal Service will follow at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
