Jean E. Aspinwall

September 20, 1936 — April 3, 2026

Jean Elizabeth (Fawcett) Aspinwall formerly of both Merrimack and Bedford, NH passed away on April 3, 2026.

Jean was born in Hartford, Ct. on September 20,1936 to Sarah (Beattie) Fawcett and Alexander Fawcett.

Jean's world revolved around her two children, Kimberly and Kyle, whom she raised with love and patience.

A lifelong Episcopalian, Jean was a faithful and active member of St. Andrew's Episcopal church in Manchester NH, where she served on the Food Bank and GMHS committees, as a Sunday school teacher, as a Delegate to the Southern Convocation and Diocesan Council and as Sr. Warden of the Vestry.

Before retirement Jean worked as a manager for Citizens Bank. She was a member of Bedford Kiwanis, Merrimack Crimeline, and Elliot Hospital Sr. Associates. 

Jean was predeceased by her loving parents and her dear brother Alexander G. Fawcett. Jean cared deeply for her nieces and nephews.

Jean loved her friends and was cherished by them for her sense of fun and listening heart. Jean loved the beach, good books, and the beauty of color and texture both in her dress and decorating her home and her families lives. Most of all she loved her family, and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family members include her two children and their spouses: Kyle Alexander Aspinwall (Christine) of Amherst NH, and Kimberly Jean Carlton (Kenneth) of Deerfield NH. Her dearly loved grandchildren: Alexandra Briggs (Bradley) and Eliza Goodspeed (Travis) of Deerfield NH, Taylor Aspinwall (Devan) and Sarah Aspinwall (Jack Radzanowski) of Amherst NH, and her great grandchildren Kenneth, Elizabeth, Theodore, and Oliver.

A celebration of Life will be held on April 13, 2026 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Manchester NH at 11am.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Andrew's Food Bank or the Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
