Jean C. MacDonald, 89, of Manchester died August 3rd, 2021 at Courville of Manchester, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Jamaica Plain, MA on February 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Rose (Camuso) Cusolito. Jean lived in Bedford, NH for 35 years and was a devoted catholic and a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Church. She worked as Human Resource Manager & Safety Coordinator at Armtech Industries for 20 years before retiring in 1997 and moving to Manchester in 2000.
Jean was a very loving, compassionate, giving and caring person. She loved family and enjoyed cooking for everyone, especially Italian eggplant, and meatballs with lots of garlic. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Jean also enjoyed spending winters at their home in Naples, Florida.
Surviving family members include her beloved husband and best friend of 65 years, Paul R. MacDonald of Manchester; three children, Paula Nelson of Franklin, TN, Scott MacDonald and wife Valerie of Raymond, and Richard MacDonald and wife Donna of Pittsburg; seven grandchildren, Joseph MacDonald (Vivian) of Bedford, Jennifer Nortey (Michael) of Framingham, MA, Kendra Nelson Cox of Franklin, TN, Jordan Nelson (Aldona) of Krakow, Poland, Kristen Peterson (Josiah) of Castroville, TX, Alicia MacDonald of Manchester and William MacDonald of Manchester; six great grandchildren, Breckin Cox, Charlotte Elkins, Artur Nelson, and Kate, Banner and Hattie Peterson. She was also predeceased her brother, Robert Cusolito.
The family would also like to thank the Courville staff and Manchester VNA Hospice for the loving care and compassion shown to the most important person in all of our lives.
SERVICES: Calling Hours will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning promptly at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 28th at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester.
