Jean G. Dalbec, 60, died on December 26, 2018 at Community Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Manchester on October 30, 1958 to Ronald and Elizabeth (Houle) Dalbec.
Jean worked as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service in Nashua for 30 years where he was also a safety officer. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 230 Merged.
He was a Karaoke DJ, an Elvis impersonator and played Santa each Christmas. He was also a 2nd degree black belt in Kenpo karate.
He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Nicholas Dalbec.
The family includes his wife, Lori (Watson) Dalbec; a daughter, Sierra Dalbec; two step-daughters, Brooke Lacasse and Jennifer Galipeault; six siblings, Charles Dalbec and wife, Teri, Michael Dalbec and wife, Irene, Louis Dalbec, Paul Dalbec, Elizabeth Rearick and husband, Tom, and Tom Marcotte; two Godchildren, Shannon Duclos and Karl Dalbec; three step-grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews, Mikki Dalbec, Thomas Dalbec, Heidi Wright, Karl Dalbec, Jennifer Crump, William Dalbec, Chad Dalbec, Melissa Hogan and Katherine Sawaya; and cousins.
A funeral ceremony was held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
