Jean Davila

She was born Lydia Garcia Correa, on January 10, 1940 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, and was the daughter of Jose and Nicolasa (Correa) Garcia.

She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. The love she gave and received from her family was the source of all her joy. She will be remembered for love, laughter, friendship and courage.

In her life: Family members include her husband of 47 years, Hector Davila of San Juan, Puerto Rico; her children and family, Jeannette Davila and Mark Piaseczny of Bedford, NH, Hector Davila of Boston, MA, Suzette and Fred Brynn of Falls Church, VA; her grandchildren, Alexander and Gabriella Brynn; her mother; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial took place Friday September 14, 2007 in the Saint Anselm Abbey Church, 100 St. Anselm Dr., Manchester, NH.

Flowers are to be omitted. Memorial donations can be made to the Hector and Jean Davila endowed scholarship fund, c/o St. Anselm College, 100 College Dr. Manchester, NH, 03102.
