Jean Goulet, 81, of Englewood, FL., died Saturday, October 15, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on May 1, 1924, in Quebec, Canada, the son of Alonso and Diana (Cote) Goulet. Jean was naturalized in the United States in 1945, the same year he entered the US Air Force to fight in WWII.
Prior to retirement, he owned and operated Goulet Crane Service. After retiring in 1980, he moved to Englewood, FL. Jean was an active traveler who ventured across the United States in his RV. Also, Jean was an aviation enthusiast throughout his life.
Members of his family include his wife, Patricia Goulet; three sons, David Goulet of Figi, South Pacific, Jeffery Goulet of Manchester, and Wayne Goulet of Bedford, NH; two daughters, Karen Goulet-Vermette of Hooksett, NH, and Patricia Goulet of Concord, NH; a step-daughter, Diane Lessard of Manchester, NH. Jean also has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Marie Church on Friday October 28, 2005. Burial took place at a later date.
