December 15, 1939 — June 17, 2022

Manchester

Jack A. Robitaille, 82, of Manchester, NH died June 17, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Born in Manchester on December 15, 1939, he was the son of Andre and Germaine (Turcotte) Robitaille.  He attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and graduated from Bishop Bradley High School.  He was a 1963 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy (now MCPHS University).

Jack was a long-time member of the American Pharmacists Association and the New Hampshire Pharmacists Association.  He also served on several advisory committees for his alma mater over the years.

An early member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, Jack was a founding member of the NH Academy of Consultant Pharmacists.  In the early 1970’s, Jack researched and further developed a unique medication distribution system for older adults residing in nursing home facilities throughout NH.  His interest in providing unit-of-use medications to patients of long term care facilities along with associated consulting services led to the establishment of Uni-Care Health Services, Inc. in Manchester, NH.  Many past employees will remember Jack’s management style and how he considered everyone a member of the “family”.

Jack enjoyed golfing, playing cards, going to the lake, and all New England sports teams, especially SNHU softball. Jack loved trivia games and was an avid reader but most of all, Jack enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his son Paul Robitaille.

Family members include his wife, Beverly (Wilcox) Robitaille; his children, Daniel Robitaille, Deborah Robitaille, Jeffrey Robitaille and wife Lisa, Stephanie Dickey and husband Leroy; grandchildren, Megan Robitaille, Jessica Fortier and her husband Adam, Brandon Hoelzel, Logan Robitaille, Adam Robitaille, Alexis Dupuis and her husband Asa, Patrick Robitaille; his brother, Peter and wife Pauline Robitaille; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
