Jean Philippe

Sister Jean-Philippe, 95, (Sr. Beatrice Morissette) of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH, died January 9, 2004, at her residence.

Born July 17, 1908, in Windsor Locks, Ct., she was the daughter of Philippe and Leona (Leroux) Morissette. She entered the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in 1931, made her first profession in 1933, and her final profession in 1938.

She was engaged in community services as a nurse and had been stationed in St. Hyacinth, Quebec, Presentation of Mary, Hudson, and St. Edmond and St. John the Baptist parishes in Manchester. In addition she served in parishes in Dover and Gorham, NH.

She had been a resident of St. Joseph Residence in Manchester since 1997.

Family members include several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday January 12, 2004 in the Resurrection Chapel. Burial followed in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
