Jeannette G. Richer passed away peacefully within palliative care on February 11, 2024, at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. She fought a courageous battle with several rare and chronic illnesses. Jeannette was born August 18, 1934, in Manchester, the daughter of Donias and Jeanne (Marcotte) Samson.
The treasures of her life were her son Daniel and his wife Dukie Vujacic-Richer of Sacramento, California, her son David of Upper Arlington, Ohio and her daughter Judith Connelly of New London, Connecticut. She adored her grandchildren, Taylor, Hayden and Tyler Richer, Nicholas Connelly and Sarah Zitney and her great grandchildren Cyrus Connelly and Milo Zitney.
Jeannette loved to knit for the Elliot Hospital Newborns and the RVSP senior program. Her favorite past time was baseball but she enjoyed all sports.
She is survived by one brother, Herve P. Samson and his wife Helen of Hooksett, NH, one sister Helene D. Couture of Manchester and sister-in-law Ruth Samson of Manchester the wife of her late brother Raymond G. Samson.

SERVICES: A funeral service for Jeannette will be held 10 am on Thursday February 15, 2024 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, followed by committal prayers at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown, Rd., Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in Jeannette's memory be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for Kids with Cancer at 814 Elm Street Suite #300, Manchester, NH 03101, 603-623-9474.
