Jeanne Y. Demencuk, 90, of Hooksett, died July 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Hooksett, NH on December 21, 1932, she was the daughter of Emile and Cecile (Despins) Beauchemin. She was educated in the local school system.
Jeanne loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother and cherished time spent with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, making pine cone Christmas trees, ceramics and going to Hampton Beach with Mrs. B. Jeanne will be remembered as a kind loving individual that would do anything for anyone. She loved all holidays but especially Christmas and would throw great parties at Christmas for all the family at her and husband Ray’s home.
She was predeceased by her son, Stephen Demencuk and daughter-in-law, Cindy Demencuk.
Family members include her husband and companion of over 75 years, Raymond E. Demencuk Sr. of Hooksett; two sons, Raymond E. Demencuk Jr. of Merrimack, Marc Demencuk of Hooksett; one daughter, Diane Galvin and husband Kenneth of Derry; her grandchildren, Matthew, Zoie, Shannon, Cassie, Sarah, Elizabeth and Jonathan; three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Denny and Cooper; one sister, Lucille Haggis of Manchester.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, August 2nd from 9 to 10:30 am followed by a funeral service at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Bedford.
Donations may be made in her memory to either Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, 235 Myrtle St, Manchester, NH or Compassus Hospice, 170 S River Road, Suite 2, Bedford, NH 03110.
