Jeannette M. Andersen

Jeannette M. Andersen, 87, of Manchester, died September 25, 2006, at the Elliot Hospital, after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester, March 28, 1919, and was the daughter of Arthur and Wilhelmine (Thibeault) Lavertue. She was a lifelong resident of this city.

Mrs. Andersen worked at Dorson & Fleisher for 23 years and at Manchester Knitted Mills for 20 years. She had volunteered at the Elliot Hospital and was a member of the Elliot Hospital Associates.

She was married to Ernest A. Andersen, who died in 1995.

She enjoyed many crafts including crocheting and sewing. She also enjoyed spending several days a week at the Arbors.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother who especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves two sons, Robert E. Andersen of Hooksett, and Ronald A. Andersen of Deerfield; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her lifelong friend, Lorraine Fitzgerald of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

Services were private with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, was in charge of arrangements.
