Jeannette C. Foley, 68, of Manchester, died December 15, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Born in Manchester on December 26, 1936, she was the daughter of both deceased Arthur and Eugenie (Duquette) Lapointe.
She was a member of St. Raphael's Parish for over 40 years.
She attended St. Anthony's School and was a member of the class of 1954. She was employed by the former Ferretti's supermarket for many years. She retired in 1999 from The Bank of New Hampshire after a 14 year career.
She most enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as cooking and gardening. She loved entertaining and visiting her family and was devoted to her children and grandchildren.
Family members include her devoted, loving husband of 45 years, Cornelius F. Foley of Manchester; two daughters: Shawna and David Lemire of Bedford, Tricia and Michael Bates of Hollis; two sons: John and Rosie (O'Toole) Foley, Neil Foley and Shannon Audley of Concord; three grandchildren; Alyssa, Graham and Harrison; a step-grandchild, Emma; a close nephew Leon Lapointe; several aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Francois Lapointe in 1964.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday December 20, 2005 at St. Raphael's Church, 103 Walker St. Manchester.
Burial followed at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Donald St. Bedford.
