Jeannette E. Johnson

Manchester, NH

   Jeannette E. (LaRose) Johnson, 81, of Manchester, passed away on May 23, 2023 after a sudden illness.

   She was born in Manchester to Joseph A. LaRose Sr. and Beatrice (St.Onge) LaRose. She was a graduate of Central High School class of 1959 and lived in Manchester for most of her life.  

   Jeannette worked in the lighting industry for over 25 years.

   She was a member of Faith Worship Center in Pepperell, MA and participated in many South American mission trips. Her life passion was to further the gospel of Jesus to all she met. She also organized a weekly prayer hour at Manchester City Hall. 

   She took great joy in caring for their beloved family pets and neighborhood animals alike.  She was a published writer and enjoyed painting, hiking, kayaking and gardening.

   Jeannette is survived by her husband of 30 years, Roger Johnson; six children, Thomas Foote and his wife, Jeanne, Timothy Foote and his wife, Chantal, Todd Foote and his wife, Lisa, Tracey Goodwin and her husband, Bruce, Tarra Caikauskas and her husband, Gary, and Travis Foote and his wife, Christine; 11 grandchildren, Brian, Joshua, Sarah, Seth, Kiana, Colby, Amber, Brandon, Chloe, Ryan and Cory; many great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph A. LaRose Jr.; cousins, nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.

   SERVICES: Calling hours are Friday (5/26) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  The burial is private and will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford.
