Jeannette F. Magarian

Jeannette F. (Bournival) Magarian, 73, of Manchester died June 2, 2011 at her residence, surrounded by her family, after a long illness.

She was born in Manchester on March 28, 1938 to Ferdinand and Antoinette (L'Evielle) Bournival. She lived in Manchester most of her life and many years in Concord and Las Vegas, NV.

Mrs. Magarian was the owner and operator of the Right Side of the Tracks in Manchester.

She was a passionate patriot who was actively involved in state and presidential politics. In 2004, she was selected to greet President George W. Bush at Manchester Airport.

She was a communicant of St. Marie Church and volunteered at the cancer ministry of that parish. She was also a member of the Henry J. Sweeney Post Ladies Auxiliary.

The family includes her husband, Charles H. Magarian of Manchester; four children, Catherine Lacroix and James Cassidy both of Manchester, Joan Kaemmerling of Thousand Oaks, CA and John Cassidy of Concord; four step children, Charles Magarian II, Dawn Anne Fuller, David Magarian and Dr. Maria Ryan all of Manchester; 11 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren; six siblings, Robert Bournival of Rochester, Pauline Atkinson of Northport, NY, Jacqueline MacLellan of Hooksett, Marguerite White of Birmingham, AL, Suzanne Matson of Naples, FL and Charlotte Pasquerella of W. Springfield, MA; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

IN HER LIFE: She was predeceased by three brothers, Richard Bournival, Roger Bournival and Albert Bournival.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of VNA Hospice of Manchester, and a special thanks to Dr. Peter Crow and the nurses and staff of NH Oncology-Hematology.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
