Jeannette M. Mailhot, 81, of Manchester, died July 31, 2017 at Hanover Hill Health Care Center after a period of failing health.
She was born in Bedford, NH May 31, 1936 to Amedee and Laurette (Pepin) Hudon. She had been a Manchester resident most of her life.
Jeannette retired from American Velcro where she had worked for many years. She had also worked at Manchester area shoe manufacturers.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Mailhot, who died in 2005.
Jeannette enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and playing Queen of Spades. She also enjoyed country music.
She leaves her five children, Susan Moreau and husband David of Bedford, NH, Dennis Mailhot and wife Debbie of Belmont, NH, David Mailhot of Titusville, FL, Gary Mailhot of Bedford, NH, and Sandra Fortin of Hampden, ME; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her mother, Laurette (Pepin) Hudon of Goffstown; her twin sister, Annette Bowsher of Lee, NH; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Parish of the Transfiguration, 305 Kelley St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
