Jeannette M. (Bergeron) Melanson, 75, of Manchester, died peacefully in her sleep on November 15, 2021 at her home.
She was born in Manchester on February 3, 1946 to Robert and Gilberte (Martel) Bergeron. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She worked at Meggitt Avionics in Manchester for over 35 years. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne at St. Anthony Parish in Manchester.
Jeannette enjoyed owls, bowling and Elvis Presley music and movies. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Richard J. Melanson in 2020.
The family includes three children, Raymond A. Melanson, Lea M. Longden and Jennifer Shablin and her husband, Marcel, all of Manchester; five grandchildren, Quintin, Jaden, Joshua, Griffin and Elizabeth; a great granddaughter, Summer; a sister, Irene Roby and her husband, Sid, of Candia; a sister-in-law, Marian McCarthy of Haverhill, MA; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Private interment will be at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
