Jeannine P. (Laurendeau) Maurier, 88, of Manchester passed away peacefully November 21, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Marshfield, MA after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester on January 28, 1922 to Alfred and Florence (Lemay) Laurendeau. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mrs. Maurier worked at several area textile mills and Velcro USA in Manchester for many years.

She was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne and Cursillo #17 both at St. Anthony Parish.

She was a gifted seamstress and made several alter linens for St. Anthony Church. She was an avid Red Sox fan and went to her first game at the age of 83. She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her sisters, and ballroom dancing with her husband at the Carousel Ballroom.

She was married to Armand M. Maurier who died in 1973.

IN HER LIFE: Jeannine was a giving and loving person who was always smiling. She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family and extended family. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family includes three children, Lionel A. Maurier and his wife, Annette, of Meredith, Francis J. Maurier and his wife, Louise, of Manchester, and Claudette Berrio of Marshfield, MA; six grandchildren, Michelle Maurier, Thomas Maurier, Kate Berrio, Jenny Berrio, John Sherwin and Jessica Taylor; four great grandchildren, Alexander Maurier, Madison Sherwin, Emily Taylor and Mackenzie Taylor; a sister, Adrienne Soucy of Manchester; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by a son in law, Stephen Berrio in 1991.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, November 27, 2010 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Augustin Cemetery Chapel, So. Beech St., Manchester.
