Jeannine Turmelle

August 16, 1943 — June 13, 2017

Jeannine Turmelle, 73, of Hooksett died June 13, 2017, at the Elliot Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Manchester on August 16, 1943, the daughter of Euclide and Therese (Laprise) Turmelle. She was a graduate of St. George High School worked as a bookkeeper for NE Tel & Tel for 34 years before retiring in 1994. She was a lifelong resident of the area.
Jeannine enjoyed quilting, crafts, and card games but her true passion was shopping. She was a fun loving, strong willed lady, but above all will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
Family includes four sisters, Laurette Samson of ME, Diane Bohan and husband Paul of Candia, Denise Bourdreau and husband Bill of NC, and Muriel Caron and husband Ralph of FL; one brother, David Turmelle and wife Betsy of NC; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeannine was predeceased by both of her parents; and three brothers, Paul, Jules, and Edmond Turmelle.

A committal service was held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: American Lung Assoc., 1800 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03104, or the charity of your choice.
