Jenelle Beeler Callahan, 52, of Bedford, NH, died May 11, 2016 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lexington, KY on December 18, 1963, the daughter of Donald and Bernice (Lilly) Beeler, Sr. Jenelle grew up in Kentucky and graduated from Tate's Creek High School. She moved to New Hampshire in 1987 and earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UNH. She also received a graduate certificate in Forensic Accounting from SNHU. Jenelle was employed as a Records Examiner/Analyst with the Drug Enforcement Administration for over 10 years.
She enjoyed walking and would often be seen walking along S. River Rd. in Bedford, to and from work. She also enjoyed hiking and puzzles. Jenelle was a problem solver and was a big fan of Disneyworld, vacationing there frequently. She was very caring and warm and always liked to make others feel good about themselves. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister and friend.
The family includes her husband of 31 years, Jerome "Chris" Callahan of Bedford; her mother, Bernice Beeler of Lexington, KY, one daughter, Kirsten Callahan of Derry; one son, Sean Callahan and his wife Owl of Seattle, WA; three sisters, Carlene Propst and husband Tim of OK, Donna Decker and husband Glenn of KY, and Dee Jones and husband Jeff of KY; three brothers, Donald Beeler, Jr. of NY, Rob Beeler and wife Colleen of IN, and David Beeler and wife Stacy of IN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Donald Beeler, Sr. in 2015.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, May 16, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford, NH. Burial followed in Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
