Joanie Bodge

Joan Ellen (Anderson) Bodge, of Manchester, passed away on 10/26/22. She was 77.

Joanie is survived by her “twin heart” and husband, Larry; Children Jennifer Dominick of Manchester and Jeremy Dominick and daughter-in-law Sunny of Derry. Grandchildren Zachary LeFevre, Nash Dominick, and Reese, Ainsley, Summer and Kinsey Fletcher. As well as her mother-in-law Ruth Bodge of Manchester.

Joanie was a graduate of the Class of 1963, Central High School and the Queen of both the Junior and Senior Proms.

She was a devoted Mother. To her Grandchildren she was “Mammy.” Her love knew no boundaries. She loved participating in all the stages of their lives.

She enjoyed concerts with her husband; their car rides often without a destination, and trips to Nantucket with a picnic and a bicycle built for two. Watching many sunrises and sunsets with the love of her life.

Over the course of her life, she was an EMT, Instructor and Hospice Volunteer. She cared about everyone and touched the lives of many.

She was predeceased by her Grandson Myles Dominick, parents Eric (Dick) and Gertrude Anderson, sisters Janice Anderson and Bonny Chenard and brother Bern Anderson.

Burial at Pine Grove Cemetery will be a private family gathering.  In lieu of flowers, please  consider a donation to the Manchester VNA Hospice in her memory at Manchester VNA, 1070 Holt Ave., Suite 1400, Manchester, NH 03109.
