Joan M. Danisewich

She was born in Manchester to Arthur and Margaret (Cullity) Erlman. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She was a 1953 graduate of St. Joseph High School for Girls and Hesser Business College in 1955.

She worked at Aetna Property and Casualty in Manchester and Gallagher-Bassett Insurance in Manchester and Bedford.

Joan was a longtime communicant of the former OLPH Church and was currently a parishioner at St. Pius X Church. She was a 55 year member of the Beta Sigma Phi Epsilon Masters Sorority.

Joan enjoyed candlepin bowling and line dancing. She adored her children and their families and loved spending time with them and spoiling her grandchildren. She was always there for them in the day to day activities of life, as well as being there for special occasions such as helping out when each of her grandchildren were born, celebrating their birthday's, attending ballet recitals, ice skating shows, concerts, parades, and school plays. The list goes on. She was an amazing woman and will be dearly missed by her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, William P. Danisewich in 2008, and by two brothers, John Erlman and Arthur Erlman Jr.

Her family includes three children, Margaret Ann Danisewich-Martin and her husband, Patrick, of Boxborough, MA, Robert P. Danisewich and his wife, Jennifer, of Broomfield, CO and David J. Danisewich and his wife, Denise, of Manchester; three grandchildren, Kelsey Martin, Haley Martin and Alexandria Danisewich; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, September 10, 2012 at St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Road and Sarto Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
