Joan T. Diamond-Rego 61, longtime resident of Londonderry and Hooksett, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.

Born on March 16, 1963 in Miami, Florida, she was the daughter to the late Henry and Dolly (Woogin) Diamond. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in computer science from Pace University. Joan was a detailed bookkeeper for Alternative Sales for over 10 years and later worked as a software trainer for Autogence Inc. for 6 years.

Joan enjoyed attending concerts for her favorite bands, especially Staind, Linkin Park and Shinedown. As a beach lover, she enjoyed any excuse to have her toes in the sand lakeside with those she loved. With her passion for animals, she lovingly volunteered for the Humane Society for over 20 years and was able to be a proud foster home as well. She also volunteered for many years with Feline Friends in Salem.  Joan also proudly taught Hebrew for over 10 years for Etz Hayim synagogue.

Joan is sadly missed by her children, Alexander Rego and his wife, Patricia of Weare and Jenny Rego and her husband, Nick Rideout of Bakersfield, CA; two grandchildren, Audrey and Lois; close cousins, David Diamond, Janet Diamond and Shawne Woogin; her beloved feline companions, Cassie and Phoebe and her feathered friend, Daisy.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the Hebrew Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester, NH.
