Born in Manchester on May 24, 1936, she was the daughter of Joseph and Elaine (Trayes) Ficek. She was a lifelong resident of Auburn.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes her husband of 56 years, Harvey A. Gorey of Auburn; a daughter, Denise C. Shorey and her husband, Michael, of Dunbarton; two grandchildren, Zach Eaton and Josh Eaton; two great grandchildren; five siblings, Donald "Bud" Ficek of Hooksett, Donna (Ficek) Cote and Andrea (Ficek) Long both of Auburn, Richard Ficek of Bedford and Debbie (Ficek) Heymans of Auburn; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A committal service was held Thursday, June 3, 2010 at St. Augustin Cemetery Chapel, So. Beech St., Manchester.
