Joan S. Menzies

She was born in Providence, RI on July 4, 1922 to Stephen and Beatrice (Hallowell) Seigl.

She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Rhode Island in 1940. She later became a Licensed Nurse's Aide and worked until age 87.

Joan was a member of the Greystone Primative Methodist Church in North Providence, RI. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, sewing and knitting. She especially enjoyed the ocean.

She was predeceased by her former husband, William G. Menzies; a sister, Betty Lou Seigl and a brother, Stephen J. Seigle Jr.

Family includes two children, Michael W. Menzies of Youngstown, OH and Janet D. Menzies of Deerfield, NH; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and a companion of 42 years, Alessandro Caputo of Greenville, RI.

SERVICES: A private service for immediate family members was held in Manchester, NH. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, NH assisted the family with arrangements.
