JoAnn enjoyed her time living, and consistently was involved in travels, family events, exploring new events and enjoying the memories of old, her adventures taking place alongside lifelong companion and husband Paul whom she met ice skating on Dorrs Pond at the age of 15.
She became Paul's bride at 18, and gave birth to their children Jacalyn (Hainey) Trudeau, and Michael Trudeau by the age of 23; JoAnn, Paul, and her children reside close and the stories of their early courtship revisited often through walks around the pond, taking the children for ice cream and telling them of the stories of their meeting, and would often frequent the walking loop around the pond near where she was born.
JoAnn's long list of activities mirrored her life, full. All activities never off limits regardless of her age, ice skating at age 14, you would find her on a pair of ice skates at age 70. A full life of travels, activity, and vitality surrounded her. She enjoyed traveling, overnight adventures were constant, weekly adventures just as frequent, and seasonal expeditions as well. She traveled from the Nordic to the Tropics and beyond.
While her thirst for travel was incredible, her desire to improve her home was the equivalent. She had an exceptional talent with decor, cooking, fashion, and enjoyed that her work was never done, ever staying current.
She enjoyed challenging herself in all that she did. Her unwavering loyalty, admiration, and commitment to her husband and family will be her final challenge to them, as envisioning her not among us is truly an adventure that was not imagined.
