Joanne L. (Fielding) Dennison, 58, of Manchester died May 4, 2003 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.

Born in Boston, MA on March 10, 1945, she was the daughter of Joseph F. and Eileen A. (Bradley) Fielding. She lived in Massachusetts at Beverly, Revere and Winthrop before moving to Manchester 23 years ago. She served in the Woman's Army Corps.

Mrs. Dennison worked as a registered nurse at Catholic Medical Center for many years.

The family includes her husband of 30 years, Robert W. Dennison of Manchester; two daughters, Ann Marie Stockbridge and Christine Dennison both of Manchester; four grandchildren; her parents of Manchester; two brothers, Mark Fielding of Manchester and Brian Fielding of East Greenwich, RI; three sisters, Paula Moore of Manchester, Marcia Bates of Derry and Barbara Fielding of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday May 8, 2003 in St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Rd. and Sarto St., Manchester. The burial was in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.

Memorial donations may be made to Greater Manchester Red Cross, Armed Forces Emergency Services Program, 1800 Elm St., Manchester 03104.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
