Joanne Felch, 75, formerly of Manchester, NH died Wednesday September 27, 2023 in Wolfeboro after a period of declining health.
Born January 13, 1948 in Manchester, she was the daughter of William and Patricia (Tully). She was a graduate of Central High School. After graduating she worked as a candy striper at the Elliot hospital. In 1974 she married her husband Earl Felch and they enjoyed 26 years of marriage.
Joanne was a wonderful mother to her three sons. As they grew up, she worked as a teacher’s aide, taught phys-ed. at St. Casimir, coached little league and soccer and was a school bus driver. She loved rooting for the Red Sox and the Patriots.
Joanne is survived by her sons Christopher Felch & his wife Jennifer of Manchester, Matthew Felch of Manchester, and Jonathan Felch of Manchester; grandchildren Chase & Gabriel Felch; siblings Margaret Murphy, Sue Ellen McGuire & her husband Timothy, Patricia Watts & her husband John, Allen Martell & his wife Michelle; and many nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Earl Felch; brothers John Martell, James “Jimmy” Martell, & William Martell; and her step-father Bob Moran.
SERVICES: Calling hours for Joanne will be on Thursday October 5th from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Cathedral Chapel at 12 pm, 145 Lowell St., Manchester. Burial will be private at a later date.
