Joanne C. Lombardo

Joanne C. Lombardo (Caikauskas), 75, of Manchester, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Manchester, NH on January 24, 1951, to the late Peter and Ethel (Nelson).

Joanne devoted her life caring for others, raising her 2 children and later in life working as a Care Giver for the Moore Center, providing a loving home for those in her care for over 2 decades. She valued her family above everything and had a special relationship with her siblings, nieces, nephews and all of their children who would visit regularly helping her with daily tasks. She cherished her time spent with all of them.

Joanne was a passionate animal rights advocate. She loved gardening, feeding and caring for the wildlife on her property, researching her family history and collecting historical items. She enjoyed visiting the beach, particularly Rockport, MA collecting sea glass and spending quiet time outdoors in her screen house.

She is survived by her son, Steven Lombardo (and his wife Tracy) her daughter, Lori Busatto (and her husband Joe), her grandsons, Mason Lombardo and Madison Suniga, her brother Richard Caikauskas, her sisters, Ginger Cassidy and Frances Mailhot and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Joanne was predeceased by her brother Peter E. Caikauskas Jr. of Manchester, NH.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester from 4pm – 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at St. Pius X Parish, 575 Candia Rd., Manchester at 10:30am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford.
