John I. "Jack" Celeste Jr., 86, of Manchester, died December 14, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Jack was known for his generosity, humor, friendship and resilience. He always had a smile for others. His advice was "Stay Steady" or "Keep Smiling".
Jack served in the US Army stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict, after which he had a successful career in the clothing industry for many years, both in Boston and NYC, until his retirement.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean Celeste. Survived by his three children: Jan Brown and husband Jeffrey; John G. Celeste and wife Vivian Pasternak; Jill Racioppi and husband Paul; and his five beloved grandchildren.
Private burial was at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
