John T. Cox, 72, of Manchester, died July 26, 2017 at Elliot Hospital after a three year battle with cancer.
He was born in Queens, NY on December 31, 1944 to John and Laura (Beliveau) Wanchew.
John was the former owner and operator of Maran's Auto Body in Flushing, NY for many years. He enjoyed horse racing and fishing. He especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.
The family includes three children, John T. Cox Jr. and his wife, Carol Desrochers, Gregory Cox and his girlfriend, Christine Cline, and Lisa Silver and her husband, Brian Convery, all of Manchester; four grandchildren, Crystal Cox, John T. Cox IV, Riley Silver and Ethan Silver; six siblings, Pauline Chesser and Patricia Badello both of New York, Lorraine Graham of Manchester, Joan Mercier of Florida, Jack Wanchew of New York and Fred Wanchew of Raymond; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, July 31, 2017 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
