Born in Manchester on November 14, 1943, he was the son of John and Antoinette (Smarse) Deswert. He was a graduate of Bishop Bradley High School in 1962 and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mr. Deswert worked at International Paper Company for 25 years and at St. Anselm College for 19 years. He coached at South Little League for many years.
IN HIS LIFE: The family includes his wife of 46 years, Margaret M. (Farland) Deswert of Manchester; two children, Kathaleen A. Deswert and James A. Deswert both of Manchester; a granddaughter, Krista LeClerc and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, June 24, 2010 at St. Raphael Church, Walker St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
