John C. Miller, Jr.

September 9, 1970 — April 18, 2025

Manchester

John C. Miller, Jr. 54, of Manchester, died unexpectedly on April 18th, 2025.

Born in Lawrence, MA on September 9, 1970, he was the son of Marie (Robichaud) Toms and the late John C. Miller, Sr. He attended Memorial High School and resided in Manchester, after moving from Merrimack, for most of his life.

John was a self taught, incredibly skilled mechanic and machinist. There was absolutely nothing that he could not create or repair. He worked as a CNC Machinist for many years for Nimco Company and WH Bagshaw, both in Nashua. He then went on to work as a mechanic with E&R Laundry & Drycleaners. It was there that he became the head of maintenance and designed and created their facility on Gold Street in Manchester, NH. He spent most of his career with E&R and was nominated many times as Employee of the Month and Employee of The Year. John later went on to work at Jon’s Shafts and Stuff, once again bringing his mechanical expertise to a higher level.

John studied Kenpo for many years and earned his black belt from Mon Kai Karate School, studying under his Sinai Mark West. He loved fishing and had a need for high speed and all things fast; from muscle cars and hot rods, to dirt bikes and motorcycles. He was passionate about music of all types, but heavy metal and jazz were always his favorite. The one thing that meant more to John than anything in his life was his son Johnny. Teaching him all that he knew and sharing all of his hobbies and interests was truly what made him happy. Vacations together were some of the greatest times they shared, making memories. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

John is survived by his son, John C. Miller III and significant other Larkin of Merrimack; his mother, Marie Toms of Manchester; his brother, Michael Quaglia of Manchester; his sister Vicki Pepin of Manchester; his nephew Christopher Quaglia of Manchester; many aunts, uncles and cousins; sister-in-law, Laura Boutot; and his lifelong friend since childhood, Jami Quintal. He was predeceased by his father, John C. Miller, Sr. and his favorite cousin and best friend, Gary Berube; and his dogs, Zuko and Stubz.

A Celebration of John’s Life will be scheduled at a later date.
