John A. Montminy, 60, of Manchester died Saturday July 23, 2022 in Concord after a period of declining health. 

Born November 18, 1961 in Manchester, he was the son of George & Alice (LaChance) Montminy. He grew up in Manchester going through Catholic school and ending with West High School.

John was an auto mechanic, operating his own business J.A. Automotive, always helping others and family with his expertise. His 1973 Chevy Nova Hatchback was his pride and joy. He played hockey, pool, darts and horseshoes. He loved collecting antiques and being on the Merrimack River with family. His sense of humor always lit up the room!! John is survived by his son Chad Montminy of Littleton; his father George Montminy Sr. of Manchester; sisters Cherylann Montminy, Cathy Prince, and brother Christopher Montminy, all of Manchester. He was predeceased by his mother Alice Montminy and his brother George Montminy Jr. 

He was a member of the Alpine Club and Winona Social Club. SERVICES: Calling hours for John will be Thursday July 28th, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A committal service will be held Friday July 29, 2022 at 11 am at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum on Goffstown Rd. in Manchester.
