John E. Wilson, 72, of Bedford, NH died July 8, 2020 surrounded by his family.
Born in Buffalo, NY on July 17, 1947, he was the son of John W. and Bernice I. (Soules) Wilson. He served in the US Army prior to his honorable discharge in November, 1972.
Prior to retirement, he had worked as a regional underwriter for Merchants Insurance Group.
John enjoyed spending time with his family and golfing.
Family members include his wife, Helen A. (McCabe) Wilson of Bedford; a daughter, Melissa M. Wilson; two sons, Marshall "Pete" Wilson and Scott D. Wilson; his mother, Bernice I. Wilson; sister, Elaine Chase and husband H. Richard Chase; two brothers, Daniel Wilson and wife Dottie Harnish, Wesley Wilson; four grandchildren, Loren Britton, Robert "Jack" Britton, Taylor Wilson, and Ella Wilson; mother-in-law, Mary N. McCabe; brothers/sisters-in-laws, Mary and Brian Lord, Beth and Carl Radtke, Margie and James Carroll, Charles and Mary McCabe, Thomas and Lynn McCabe, Arthur and Mary McCabe; several nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and cousins.
Services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday July 15th, 2020 at St John Vianney Church Orchard Park, NY social distancing guidelines will apply. Interment to be determined for a later date. A Memorial Mass at St. Elizabeth Seton Church Bedford, NH forthcoming.
Donations may be made in his memory to Liberty House Inc. 75 W. Baker St Manchester, NH 03103 or the charity of your choice.
