Jonathan M. Egan

May 25, 1988 — September 16, 2023

Jonathan M. Egan, 35, of Auburn, died unexpectedly on September 16, 2023.

Born in Manchester, NH on May 25, 1988, he was the son of Michael D. and Marianne C. (Fannon) Egan.  He was educated in Manchester and attended Memorial High School.  Jon was always the type of person who was willing to help anyone, selflessly, no matter what the circumstance was. He spent many years helping those in recovery.  Most recently, he worked as a Certified Recovery Support Worker with Healthcare for the Homeless through CMC Hospital where he helped many people within our community, and also worked Per-Diem at Waypoint in Manchester.

Jon loved sports and was very athletic. He was a die-hard Patriots fan and a Yankees fan living in Red Sox Nation!  He was the captain of several local softball teams and he also enjoyed playing golf. Everyone who knew Jon knew he was a huge “The Office” Fan and couldn't go anywhere without saying a quote from the show.  He was loved by many people within our community. He made such strides to help anyone that he could and made an impact on so many people’s lives. Jon was the most kind and caring individual that anyone could ever ask for and could light up any room with his sense of humor. Above all else, will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, stepfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Surviving family members include his wife, Ashley R. (Rawson) Egan of Auburn; two daughters, Amira and Norah Egan; parents Marianne and Michael Egan of Manchester; two stepsons, Ayden Grassie, and Julian Farhadian; Another son, not by blood but by heart; two brothers, Leo Egan and Matthew Robinson; and his niece and nephews; Lauren, Charlie and Mikey.
