Joseph A. Carle, 87, of Manchester, died February 23, 2016 at Maple Leaf Health Care Center after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on March 6, 1928 to Edmond and Valida (Garand) Carle. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Strategic Air Command for 22 years and was honorably discharged at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.
Joseph later worked at Sanders Associates at Grenier Field in Manchester for 20 years. He enjoyed carpentry, landscaping and bowling.
He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Yvette I. (Fortin) Carle in 2012 and by two brothers, Henry Carle and George Carle.
He is survived by his loving family which includes four children, Suzanne Laferriere and her husband, Robert, of Arizona, Robert Carle of San Diego, CA, Arlene Malo and her husband, Oscar, of Hooksett and Michael Carle of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Mark, Jeffrey, Matthew, Jon, Steven, Kathy, Hannah and Holly; three great grandchildren, Brodie, Eli and Lily Rose; and several nieces and nephews.
Private committal prayers will be at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Manchester.
