Joseph F. Desmond, 50, of Manchester, died on November 17, 2021 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by his loving family after a period of declining health.
Born in Rockville Center, NY on September 30, 1971, he was the son of Francis J. and Patricia A. (Dirr) Desmond. He was a graduate of Patchogue-Medford High School, attended SUNY Morrisville, and worked for TD Bank as a portfolio manager for many years.
Joseph was an avid golfer and he had a passion for cooking. He was very funny and kindhearted, and time spent with his family is what brought him the most happiness. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving son, brother, partner, father, uncle and friend.
Joseph was predeceased by his mother, Patricia A. Desmond in 2001.
Surviving family members include his father, Francis J. Desmond of Delray Beach, FL; two siblings, Brian F. Desmond and wife Courtney of Blue Point, Long Island and Erin H. Desmond and husband Darren Byles of Delray Beach, FL; his partner of over 20 years, Debra Soares of Concord, and her girls, Emily, Kay, Amanda and Madilyn; and three nieces, Lily, Athea, and Aela.
There are no calling hours. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial donations in Joseph's name may be made to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
