Joseph A. Lawrence, 41, of Goffstown died May 22, 2002 at CMC after a sudden illness.

Born in Manchester on March 1, 1961, he was the son of Philip and Mary (O'Keefe) Lawrence. He lived in Manchester many years before moving to Goffstown seven years ago.

Mr. Lawrence was employed as a supervisor for the NICOA Corporation of Manchester for over 23 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his time hunting and fishing. He also volunteered with the Big Brother and Big Sister Association of Manchester.

Family members include his mother of Manchester; 5 sisters, Janice Janelle of Goffstown, Kathy Lawrence of Manchester, Mary Roy and Sue Ward both of Goffstown, and Vicki Lawrence of Manchester; 6 brothers, David Lawrence, Richard Lawrence and Daniel Lawrence all of Manchester, Mark Lawrence of Bedford, Gary Lawrence and Peter Lawrence both of Manchester; several aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 138 Coolidge Ave. on Saturday May 25, 2002. A cremation followed.
