Josephine M. Gruszewski

She was born in Manchester, on December 26, 1921 the daughter of Peter P. and Anna R. (Tokarz) Spiewak and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She attended Manchester Central High School. She was an employee of New England Telephone retiring after 25

years of dedicated service. She enjoyed gardening, watching her Red Sox and being with family and friends.

Family members include a daughter, Mrs. Janice George and husband Richard of Manchester; one sister, Mrs. Janice Pitman and her husband Kenneth of Manchester; her sister-in-law, Rose Spiewak and several nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years Stanley V. Gruszewski who passed away on the same date in 1995, and a daughter Linda M. Gruszewski who passed away in 1996. She was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

A life celebration will be held at a later date in the summer.
