She was born in Manchester on November 18, 1942, the daughter of Raymond and Pauline (Dockx) LeBel. She was a 1960 graduate of St. Joseph High School for Girls and received her nursing training from the Sacred Heart School of Nursing, graduating in 1963. She had resided in Auburn for 28 years before to moving back to Manchester.
Prior to retirement, she had worked as a registered nurse for Christopher Lynch, MD for 18 years. Previously, she held several positions at Sacred Heart Hospital and Catholic Medical Center and also had worked as a substitute nurse for the Auburn Village School and Pinkerton Academy in Derry.
Family members include her husband of 44 years, Paul Ladouceur of Manchester; three daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Kristen) Sarno of Derry, Karen Ladouceur and Kimberly Ladouceur, both of Boston.
She is also survived by her granddaughter, Alicia Palumbo; one brother, Arthur LeBel and his wife Irene of Manchester; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A funeral service was held in the Lambert Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, June 17, 2010.
