Julia L. (Bubelnyk) Chaput, 100, died January 6th, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born in Manchester on March 11, 1921, she was the daughter of John and Hafia (Markar) Bubelnyk. She attended local schools.
Prior to retirement, she had worked for many years for J.F. McElwain Shoe Factory in the millyard.
Devoted to her Catholic Faith, she was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Parish and a member of the parish's St. Anne Sodality. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, card games and was always looking forward to trips to Foxwoods.
Above all else, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Maurice J. Chaput in 2007. She was also predeceased by her twin sister, Antoinette Lemire, other siblings Anna Coco and Paul Bubelnyk, and infant great-granddaughter, Parker Pichette.
Family members include her sons, Maurice J. Chaput Jr and wife Wilma of Manchester; Michael Chaput and wife Renee of Goffstown; her grandchildren, Timothy, David, Christopher, Asheley, and Nathaniel; her great-grandchildren, Makenna, Acaterina, Sierra, and Sloane; sister-in-law, Cindy Chaput of Virginia Beach; several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Sunday from 1 to 4 pm, with masks and social distancing mandatory . A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church. Encryptment will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
