Julia E. "Julie" Lesmerises, 88, of Bedford, died September 28, 2004, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, April 5, 1916, she was the daughter of Brookes and Katherine (Sarsfield) Foster. She lived most of her life in Bedford.
Mrs. Lesmerises worked as a salesperson for J.J. Newberry's.
She was a member of the World Apostolates of Fatima the Blue Army USA, the Precious Blood Monastery, the Missionary Rosebushes of St. Theresa, West Manchester Chaper of the AARP, and a member of Primetime.
She was a member of several square dance clubs including the Heel & Toe, Allamade Eights, and the Queen City Promenaders.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Bertrand J. Lesmerises of Bedford; her son and daughter in law, Norman and Luci Lesmerises of Bedford; two granddaughters, Jennifer O'Neill of Manassas, VA, and Michelle Morin of Dunbarton, NH; two great grandchildren, Allison and Sarah O'Neill, both of Manassas, VA; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday October 1, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meeting House Rd., Bedford. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
