Juliet R. Libby, 93, of Manchester, NH died April 3, 2012 peacefully at home.

She was born in Berlin, NH on February 22, 1919, the daughter of Edgar J. and Marguerite (Prince) Roy. She graduated Berlin High School and attended Bentley School of Accounting and Finance.

Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a certified public accountant in Massachusetts for many years.

Julie married her high school sweetheart Darald R. Libby on June 29, 1946.

She and her husband were very active in their community and involved in many charitable endeavors. She was a strong advocate of the NH Philharmonic Orchestra, the Center For New Beginnings, and the Manchester Community School of Music. She enjoyed calligraphy, playing the violin, golf and most of all family gatherings. Julie was a world traveler visiting six continents and both poles. She was a devout Catholic who lived her faith and was a member of the St. Joseph Cathedral choir.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years Darald R. Libby on June 23, 2009.

Family members include four daughters, Margaret Libby of Manchester, Therese Libby and her husband Dr. Larry Siegel of Bedford, Susan Libby and her husband Paul Bessey of Weare, NH, Martha Dandurand and her husband Richard of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Darald and Noah Libby-Haines, Eric, Andrew, and Julie Siegel, Jeffrey and his wife Emily, Marcus and his wife Katy, and Stephen Dandurand; two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Charles Dandurand; four sisters, Gertrude Crigler of Arizona, Bernadette Schuette of New Hampshire, Joan Burrell of Virginia Beach, Beatrice Rheaume of Arizona; one brother, George Roy of Auburn, ME; nephews, nieces and cousins. She was also predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in St. Joseph Cathedral, Pine St, Manchester. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
