Juliette M. Powell

Juliette M. Powell, 85, of Manchester, died January 27, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on September 26, 1936, she was the only daughter of Philip and Marieanne (Archambeault) Dupuis. She was the youngest of their nine children. Juliette was a graduate of Central High School and worked for many years at Alltex Standard Uniform, in the accounting department. She was a lifelong resident of the Queen City.
Juliette was an avid sewer, from making her children's clothes, to her and Dick's square dancing outfits. She also enjoyed knitting and quilting. She loved listening to Dick play music in the morning and her favorite song was Misty. She and her husband enjoyed their time together square dancing and traveling to Florida every year. Juliette will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Juliette looked forward to her Saturday mornings with her "girls" and Sundays with her son.
Family includes her beloved husband Richard G. Powell of Manchester. In April they would have celebrated their 65th year of marriage. Her four children, Lynda M. Wheeler, Catherine M. Smith and husband William, Tracy A. Boudreau and husband Ronald, and Michael S. Powell and wife Lisa; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents; and seven brothers.
There are no calling hours and all services will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Children's Hospital for Research, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
